CHILDBIRTH and BREASTFEEDING CLASSES

Join our four-week "Birthing from Within" based childbirth classes for information and discussions about discomforts of pregnancy, the labor and delivery process, labor support techniques, unexpected surprises, how to get information and give consent in labor, how to feed your baby, the postpartum experience, and newborn care.  Videos, discussions, birth art and role play will be used to help you discover your ideas, beliefs, fears, and dreams about birth.  There is also an opportunity to meet again after the delivery to share birth experiences.

Our two-hour breastfeeding class provides information on:

• the benefits of breastfeeding
• breastfeeding positions
• how to help your baby get a good latch
• how to know your baby is "getting enough"
• how to confidentially and discreetly nurse anywhere
• where to get help if you need it

Childbirth & Breastfeeding Classes

COST for the Childbirth Class is $150.00.
COST for the Breastfeeding Class is $20.00.

Classes are from 7—9:30 pm.

Class times are 7-9:30 pm (except for the last class of each series which will include breastfeeding and it will be from 6:30-9:30)
